Planet Card is a discount benefit card issued by Planet Card Limited (“Planet Card”). Participating businesses in your area have agreed to provide discounts and/or offers to all Cardholders. Details of the businesses offering discounts and/or offers in your area, and the disounts and/or offers available, appear on the Planet Card website and will be updated regularly.
You benefit because you become eligible for discounts and/or offers from local businesses. The local charity nominated by you or the card seller (your child's school for example) also benefits. It receives a percentage of the revenue generated from sales of its cards.
The Cardholder(s) shall pay Planet Card a subscription of $20.00 (GST incl) for a 12 month period (plus 14 days to allow for postage of the Card).
The applicant(s) and/or Cardholder(s) must be aged 18 years or over.
The Card must be in the name of an individual person (may include spouse in same household) and not a Company, Trust, Club or any other kind of organisation.
The annual subscription shall be for a period of one year plus 14 days to allow for postage of the card.
Planet Card may offer a renewal of subscription prior to the expiry date. Funds from that renewal shall be paid to the same Non-Profit Organisation nominated the previous year unless stated otherwise by the applicant or unless the Non-Profit Organisation ceases to exist or declines the funds. In those circumstances the funds will be distributed to another Non-Profit Organisation selected by Planet Card.
Planet Card has the right to decline any application form or renewal in its unfettered discretion.
The card is valid until the expiry date on the card.
Only the Cardholder(s) displayed on the Card may utilise the card to redeem offers by businesses.
If a card is lost or stolen one replacement card per annum can be issued at a cost of $10.00 to the Cardholder(s).
Planet Card shall not be liable should any business not honour any discount offer. The cardholder(s) should notify Planet Card as soon as practical if any business has failed to honour their incentives to any Cardholder(s).
Planet Card shall not be liable if any participating business ceases business during the year, changes ownership, or otherwise withdraws from the Planet Card system.
The Cardholder(s) consents to Planet Card selling/providing membership details and database to third parties only for the purposes of sale of the Planet Card business and those third parties may use such data for their own commercial purposes.
The Cardholder consents to Planet Card providing membership details and database to third parties such as their website designers, accountants, lawyers and any other party for the puposes of administration and business development (Please refer to our Privacy Policy displayed on our website www.planetcard.co.nz)
Planet Card may alter, change, add or delete any offers,incentives or discounts by businesses at any time in accordance with 4(a) and 4(c) of Business Terms & Conditions displayed on our website www.planetcard.co.nz. Any changes made will be updated on our website www.planetcard.co.nz

Planet Card may provide links through its website to other websites. This is done primarily to assist viewers who may require information from participating businesses and/or Non-Profit Organsiations. In doing this Planet Card accepts no responsibility for the contents of these other websites.
In the case of manual Membership forms, where a Cardholder nominates a Non-Profit Organisation that is not registered with Planet Card, then Planet Card may at its discretion, nominate an alternative registered Non-Profit Organisation in the same region.

The Business commits to offer the discount / benefit shown to Planet Card cardholders for a one year term or as otherwise agreed between the Business and Planet Card. It further authorises Planet Card to list The Business's name, contact details and discount / benefit offered, on the Planet Card website and in Planet Card material, throughout the above subscription period, and any renewal periods. Prior to the end of the subscription period, PlanetCard will advise by email that the subscription period is about to expire and offer an automatic renewal for a further one year term. The Business will also be able to change their offer or withdraw their offer from PlanetCard.
Planet Card will include The Business on its website and in promotional material as a subscriber to Planet Card.
The parties (being Planet Card Ltd and the Business offering the discount and/or incentive) agree:
Planet Card may in its unfettered discretion delete The Business and/or Non-Profit Organisation from its website and terminate its association with The Business without prior notice to The Business, before the subscription period above has come to an end if it believes The Business is in breech of this Agreement and/or is not contributing positively to the Planet Card system and image. No refund of subscription will be made in these circumstances; and Planet Card shall be under no liability to The Business, in the event of such a deletion.
The Business indemnifies Planet Card against any liability which may be incurred by Planet Card (e.g. for breach of an intellectual property right) from listing The Business and its agreed discount/benefit offer on the Planet Card website, and/or from otherwise promoting The Business in its Planet Card materials.
Planet Card may alter, change, add or delete any offers, incentives or discounts by businesses at any time for the purposes of spelling or grammar errors. Any changes made will be advised to the applicable business before being displayed on our website www.planetcard.co.nz
Planet Card may provide links through its website to other websites. This is done primarily to assist viewers who may require information from participating businesses and/or Non-Profit Organsiations. In doing this Planet Card accepts no responsibility for the contents of these other websites.
The Business shall display a Planet Card label/sticker (100mm x 80mm) so that customers are aware that the business is a participating business. Should the Business offer, expire or no longer be displayed on the Planet Card website www.planetcard.co.nz then the Business should remove the label/sticker and destroy it as soon as possible.

Any Non-Profit Organisation may apply on line at www.planetcard.co.nz to register with the Planet Card system.
The Non-Profit Organisation must supply all details to Planet Card in order to receive funds through the Planet Card system.
The Non-Profit Organisation consents to Planet Card providing the name, contact details and any details supplied by the Non-Profit Organisation of any fundraising campaign on the Planet Card website www.planetcard.co.nz.
Planet Card has the right to decline any Non-Profit Organisation Application or renewal in its unfettered discretion.
Planet Card receives Cardholder Registration funds of which 25% is distributed to nominated Non-Profit Organsiations as chosen by the Cardholder.
Distributions to Non-Profit Organisations will be distributed to Non-Profit Organisation every six months (15 April and 15 October) to the Bank Account of the Non-Profit Organisation. Advice of the distribution of funds will be confirmed to the Non-Profit Organisation by email.
Should the Non-Profit Organisation wish to administer a fundraising campaign over a short period, then Planet Card will distribute fundraising proceeds earlier than the six months provided they have a written request from the Non-Profit Organisation and agreed by both the Non-Profit Organisation and Planet Card Limited.
The Non-Profit Organisation consents to Planet Card displaying details of fundraising totals and recipients on its website and/or in public newspapers.
