PlanetCard is a universal fundraising system designed as a simple system, ready to use and no cost to kindergartens, schools and other Non-Profit Organisations.
PlanetCard works by providing discounts and/or offers to Cardholders from a variety of participating businesses who can advertise with no listing fees. Businesses include accommodation, automotive, cafes, health, shops and more. Offers are regularly updated on our website and can be viewed or printed. PlanetCards can be purchased at a very low cost of $20.00.
As a fundraiser, your Organisation has the ability to receive up to $10.00 for every PlanetCard sold. When Cardholders purchase a PlanetCard they can nominate 25% of the Card purchase price to Non-Profit Organisations (or 50% where Organisations are actively fundraising). Organisations who register as an Affiliate Member and promote PlanetCard can receive the additional 25% (thats 50% being $10 for every PlanetCard sold!).
For example, If your Organisation sells 100 PlanetCards you can receive $1,000.00
If your Organisation sells 500 PlanetCards you can receive $5,000.00
PlanetCard will always distribute $10.00 for every Card sold to Non-profit Organisations and/or Affiliates. In instances where no Affiliate Code is entered then PlanetCard will distribute the second $5.00 (25%) to the nominated Non-Profit Organisation.
Once your Non-Profit Organisation registers with us and even with no effort, you can then be nominated to receive fundraising funds from people purchasing PlanetCards through our website or if businesses wish to support Non-Profit Organisations and sell Cards. The Cards are not difficult to sell as the very low cost together with a variety of businesses offering discounts provide Cardholders with significant savings. The Cards are valid for one year and PlanetCard administration offers Cardholders a renewal prior to expiry date hence allowing the potential for on-going income for your Non-Profit Organisation with no additional work.
To assist with fundraising, you can create a link from your Non-Profit Organisation website to ours or promote Planetcard in School Newsletters. Alternatively Organisations are able to make use of our Promotional/Application Forms by sending us an email.
