How long does a membership last for? Your membership lasts for 12 months.
Can I use my PlanetCard immediately? Yes, you will receive an email receipt upon purchase. Your unique PlanetCard number will be displayed in the subject and can be used immediately for online shops etc.
What if it takes a week to receive my Card? Does my membership get extended? We add on two weeks to your 12 month subscription to allow for any delays in postage. Normally you should expect to receive your PlanetCard within about 3 days however should you not receive your Card within ten working days then please contact us immediately.
Do I have to buy a Card for myself and another for my spouse in the same household? If you wish to have a Card each then yes. However if you wish to share a Card in these circumstances you may have one Card in both names and share it.
How long do business offers stay available for? Business offers generally last for 12 months however businesses may extend or change their offer at the expiry date if they wish.
Can I use my Card in other regions? Yes you can use your Card anywhere in New Zealand where it is shown as a participating business on our website.
What if a Business does not fulfill its offer on the website? Contact us as soon as possible and advise us. We will investigate the issue and if required delete the Business from the website.
Can I nominate any Non-Profit Organisation to receive the portion of fundrasing funds? You may nominate any Non-Profit Organisation that is listed in your region.
Businesses
How long does our registration last? Your registration normally lasts 12 months unless otherwise extended and agreed with Planet Card Ltd.
Our business operates in more than one region - how do we register in multiple regions? List your business in one area and send us an email with details of where else you would like this listed and we will attend to this.
Can we sell Cards to help fundraise for a school or club? Yes you may sell Cards and can either use the website process or have your customers complete an application form in the Non-Profit Organisation as long as the Non-Profit Organisation has registered with us and is visible in the list of Non-Profit Organisations on our website.
Can we sell Cards to our regular customers? Yes you may sell Cards and can either use the website process or have your customers complete an application form in the Non-Proft Organisation section. You can also take advantage of our Affiliate programme and increase revenue by receiving a portion of Card sales sold by you.
How will Planet Card be promoted? As well as Non-Profit Organisations who may wish to use this system for fundraising and businesses who may wish to use this system as their loyalty Card, Planet Card will be promoted through externally as regions develop with an ideal number and variety of registered businesses.
Non-Profit Organisations
Can PlanetCard assist with our Fundraising drive? PlanetCard can provide Application Forms for Non-Profit Organisations and is available to assist with expertise and advice for fundraising. Please send an email with details of your Organisation and the aim of your fundraising intentions and we will be make contact with you.
As a Non-Profit Organisation, how often do we receive fundraising funds? Every six months being 15 March and 15 September unless you are specifically doing a fundraising campaign and we can distribute funds earlier.
If we are a Non-Profit Organisation and we wish to utilise Planet Card to do a fundraising drive can we receive the fundraising proceeds earlier than 6 months? Yes, simply let us know over what time-frame you are fundraising and the end date and we will arrange to distribute your share of funds within 15 working days.
